One type of shoe, which has been created, is known has the Devidas, which takes after the film starring Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan in Devdas. This shoe is all black with multicoloured stitching and patterns, and the heel height is just 5.5 inches, which is quite tamed for Louboutins. Whilst there is another pair called Bollywoody, which have heels that are a staggering 6 inches and a bright pink with a beautiful embroidered pattern similar to the Devidas pair. This collection is sure to be a summer favourite and not just in India.

Rihanna is going back old school as she goes back to being a brunette with longer hair in this campaign, her 2011 shoot saw her with short blonde hair. And I think brunette is better (not that I’m biased). The 23-year-old is seen flaunting her figure in lacy underwear as she poses on a bed and is also seen wearing a negligee and knickers whilst teasing the camera. Maybe Rihanna is set to make it a second year in a row for sexiest set.

The campaign also includes Rihanna exposing the new Armani jeans line, where she can be seen wearing a denim jacket with shorts and in another shot, skinny jeans and a tank lying across a couch– and she makes an everyday outfit look amazing and makes it so much more.

Rihanna is currently enjoying a well-earned break holidaying in Hawaii after doing a world tour with 101 shows.

Cumberbatch makes an excellent Sherlock and executes the character brilliantly: catching his arrogance, intelligence and his perceptiveness extremely well. And in this series we see Watson more as a soldier than any other interpretation has allowed. They make a good partnership in this series, and keep the audience gripping with what is to come next. Mark Gatiss who plays Holmes’ brother, Mycroft is also captured well: Gatiss plays the protective older brother, with his own intelligence and work as a government official.

We are yet to see Professor James Moriarty, Sherlock’s arch enemy, also known as ‘Jim’ played by actor Andrew Scott, to appear in this series and he is sure to appear in the season finale next week, which is on Sunday BBC1 at 8.30pm. It is a finale not to be missed and will have much enthralling action and serious detective work in it. And should make for an interesting Sunday evening.

The 33-year-old actress is seen topless in some sexy and sultry shots with her smoky eyes capturing the camera. There are other shots of her rolling around in the sand whilst modeling a beautiful bracelet and earrings. These shots of her are steamy and show a different side to Katie, one that maybe her husband; Tom Cruise was keeping hush hush about.

This film franchise favourite returns in May this year and sees Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones return as Agents J and K. It’s been 10 years since the last MIB film was released and this ones in 3D. The film sees director Barry Sonnenfield return to his director’s chair and also features Steven Spielberg as a guest producer. This film features Smith’s character go back in time to the 60s to save Agent K from aliens and to save the MIB agency. The film also includes an audience favourite, Frank the talking dog and also has Nicole Scherzinger playing J’s girlfriend. This film is good for a family venture out to the cinemas and good for action and comedy.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation

This famous toy-classic-turned-film sees the G.I Joes return but not all Joes will feature in this sequel. This film is about the remaining Joes getting revenge on Zartan (disguised as the President, also from the first film) for killing some of the Joes and ruining their names. This film includes Step Up hotty Channing Tatum returning as Duke, and Ray Park as Snake Eyes but also has a lot of new members joining the cast such as Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson.

Snow White & The Huntsmen

Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? Kristen Stewart apparently. This film sees Stewart play Snow White and Charlize Theron play Queen Raveena and it’s a different take on Snow White. Much like Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, this film doesn’t follow the original fairy tale. The film follows the original storyline but instead the Huntsmen join forces with Snow White to overpower the queen, with the help of not seven dwarves but eight (controversial might I add) and the Prince. It’s a fairy tale that breaks all the rules: it has action, a war, a fighting princess, and let’s not forget the eight dwarves.

The Dark Knight Rises

This is probably the most anticipated film 2012 will see and it is one, which has been kept tightly under wraps. Here is what we do know: it will still star Christian Bale as Batman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman will also reprise their roles. But it also stars Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle better known as Catwoman and Tom Hardy, who had to put on 30 pounds of muscle for his role as Bane, the brutal villain. Christopher Nolan returns to direct this comic classic and after the success and hype of the second film, there is a lot pressure on this film, especially as this is the last installment of the Batman films. The plot is about Batman cleaning up Gotham from the mess Harvy Dent left, and alongside must fight Bane and Catwoman. This film is sure to keep the audience gripped to their seats with a lot of action and new technology, as well as an epic storyline to keep us enthralled.

The Amazing Spider-man

I was upset when I heard Toby Maguire wasn’t returning as Spiderman, and as this is also my favourite superhero, I have doubts about Spiderman being done again. This film is directed by Marc Webb, who is well-known for directing music videos, films not so much: this is the second film he has directed, the first being (500) Days of Summer, which was a pretty big hit. This film sees Andrew Garfield (from The Social Network) star as Spiderman and Rhys Ifans as The Lizard. And it goes back to the beginning and sees Peter Parker go digging back into his roots and past and learns some hidden family truths about how he became Spider-man.

David Fincher, who you may recognize as the director of Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Social Network, directed The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. And Fincher does not disappoint with his take on Stieg Larsson’s novel. It is a long film but judging from the novels one would expect this. But the film grips the audiences from the set go: its starts with Craig being fined and thrown in the public eye for writing a controversial article, which puts his career on the rocks. We then see Lisbeth, a recluse who is different from her colleagues and works at home as a investigator and ‘ward of the state:’ she does a very good job at investigating Mikael and his whole life for reasons, which then lead him onto exploring a missing person’s case alongside Lisbeth.

The novel has caused much controversy over some its details and inclusion of sex and graphic scenes of rape: these are concepts, which are further explored in the film and one cannot help but sympathise with Mara’s character. And Mara, who is known very little in this industry, does an amazing job of portraying Lisbeth: she is a strong character who fends for herself and has an understandable hatred for men, and takes a sudden liking to Mikael (and who can blame her really).

Craig and Mara do excellent jobs of playing Larsson’s characters, better than expected. They stay true to the novel’s roots and provide action, romance, suspense and crime, which is more than anyone could want in a film. And although there is a lot of controversy over these Swedish films being remade in English, I think it is a job well done and I look forward to seeing the next installment.

The novel is cleverly set in the time where Holmes has just passed away and Watkins looks back on how he and Holmes met and first came to be. Watkins then tells the reader that this novel, his last, would have been written a 100years ago and locked away until our time for release, as it is such a shocking story, which could not be told in the time it happened as it was a crime unspoken of and so bad society could not handle it.

Horowitz’s take on attempting a Holmes’ novel is a perceptive one. He does Doyle justice: it is a novel, which I found hard to put down and eager to finish. Horowitz keeps the reader in suspense and speculating what is to come next, but as always Sherlock Holmes is one-step a head. The novel is excellently executed and for those who are skeptical of another Holmes novel being written should definitely give The House of Silk a read and prepare to be astounded. Horowitz is known for writing novels, which are mystery and thriller: and he does not disappoint with this novel and pays homage to Arthur Conan Doyle well, and to fans of Sherlock Holmes.

Yep, you have indeed read it write right, there was a men’s Primark section in Selfridges, not only in Birmingham but Manchester too. The first word that sprung to mind was scandalous! But as I walked through the large department store, and thought about the situation more, I realized that it might actually be a great and innovative idea for Selfridges.

The reason for it of course is the economy. It’s to get shoppers on a budget to still come into Selfridges and have a browse and get something affordable from Selfridges, and other pricier items may also catch their eye so consumers may indulge more. It’s a win – win situation: Selfridges gets more shoppers buying more and Primark gets their label in a big department store. Some may disagree with it though: seeing the luxurious image, which Selfridges holds being tarnished and cheapened by this brand being in this store. I think it’s a good idea: why not let a high street favourite break rules.

The collection at Selfridges includes clothes, accessories and footwear from the other Primark stores, but also features clothing designed especially for Selfridges, meaning it is a bit pricier than your usual cheap Primark clothes. And the Primark section in Selfridges isn’t crowded it set out to look classy and eye-catching: a large step away from your mountains of clothes all thrown everywhere. The concession looked appealing (see picture below) and certainly drew in customers. But as I looked around it saw T-shirts being sold for £15, which would have been about £5 in an actual Primark store, a slight rip off maybe.

Selfridges is also letting in other high street concessions into their stores, some of which already include Topshop and now H&M.
